FDLE-ATP Breath Testing
Tuition-Free Training Courses
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) provides grant funding for the training of sworn Florida law enforcement officers in traffic crash investigation and traffic enforcement topics. This training is offered through the Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM), the Florida Public Safety Institute (FPSI), and the Florida Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor (TSRP) Program. Below is a list of upcoming tuition-free courses. For the most up-to-date training schedules or to register for a course, contact the institutions directly or reach out to your District LEL for assistance.
Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM)
The Institute of Police Technology and Management (IPTM) offers the following tuition-free courses to sworn Florida law enforcement officers through grant funding from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Early registration is encouraged to help ensure courses run as scheduled.

Florida Public Safety Institute (FPSI)
The Florida Public Safety Institute (FPSI) offers the following tuition-free courses to sworn Florida law enforcement officers through grant funding from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). For grant-funded courses held at FPSI in Havana, Florida, on-site lodging and meals are covered at no cost if the student is traveling more than 50 miles.
