The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Safety Office regularly engages and coordinates with seven active traffic safety coalitions with representatives who meet quarterly. Each coalition focuses on a key traffic safety priority and brings multiple traffic safety partners together to help shape strategies, support outreach efforts, and contribute to safer roadways. Law enforcement officers play a critical role in every coalition, bringing frontline experience and enforcement insight.

For information on joining a coalition, visit the coalition’s website or contact your District Law Enforcement Liaison (LEL). LELs actively participate in each coalition and can guide you through the process of getting involved.
