The Florida Law Enforcement Liaison (LEL) Team is comprised of experienced law enforcement professionals. Each of the seven FDOT Districts has a dedicated full-time LEL, with overall coordination managed by the LEL Coordinator. LELs play a crucial role in planning, promoting, and evaluating law enforcement participation in traffic safety initiatives, serving as a vital link between the FDOT State Safety Office and the law enforcement community.
