It is staffed by seven full-time Law Enforcement Liaisons, one assigned to each FDOT district, plus a full-time Program Coordinator. LELs work directly with chiefs, sheriffs, traffic unit supervisors, and line officers through regular site visits to strengthen traffic safety efforts in state, county, municipal, university, and tribal jurisdictions.
