Broward, Indian River, Martin, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie Counties
Nick Wollschlager serves as the District 4 Law Enforcement Liaison (LEL). As the District 2 LEL, he partners with and supports approximately 57 law enforcement agencies across five Southeast Florida counties in their traffic safety efforts. His responsibilities include facilitating and promoting participation in state and national traffic safety initiatives, serving on traffic safety coalitions and Community Traffic Safety Teams (CTSTs) within the district, assisting agencies in acquiring and managing grants to address traffic safety needs or expand programs, coordinating the exchange of critical information, such as officer training, crash data, safety and sobriety checkpoints, and legal updates, fostering interagency coordination, conducting training sessions and networking meetings, and implementing traffic safety mobilizations including Click It or Ticket, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, and Operation Southern Slow Down.
