Tim Roberts serves as the Program Coordinator for the Florida Law Enforcement Liaison (LEL) Program, overseeing the operational planning and execution of the program statewide. He provides leadership and strategic guidance to the LEL team, ensuring consistency and coordination across all seven FDOT districts to maximize the effectiveness of traffic safety initiatives.
Tim supports the LEL team in facilitating and promoting law enforcement participation in state and national traffic safety initiatives and coordinating the Florida Law Enforcement Traffic Safety Challenge. He regularly conducts meetings with the LEL team to plan traffic safety programs and the exchange of critical information, such as officer training, crash data, safety and sobriety checkpoint schedules, and legal updates. Tim is also involved in the implementation of traffic safety mobilizations, including Click It or Ticket, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, Operation Southern Slow Down, and Hands Across the Border.
